Our mission

Educate, mentor, and enable youth & young adults to outshine in STEAM. 

Programs

Our Aim

We aim to offer interdisciplinary, educational, enrichment programs in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics for youth, young adults and their families. Through hands-on activities, skill-building courses, experiments, and project challenges, we want to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in life and their careers. Creating synergies between Arts and STEM disciplines will be a main focus of project challenges.  

Abenaavi Arts & Tech (AAAT)

Abenaavi Arts: Art & Tech (AAAT) program provides creative guidance to Newark’s young artists giving them hands-on experience in creating and preparing art for digital displays, such as non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Youth in AAAT gain experience designing the layout, atmosphere, and displays in a virtual and immersive art gallery.

AAAT aims to

  • Reduce the digital divide
  • Empower our youth to create in Newark
  • Empower youth to share and profit on a global scale.

Sacred Geometry & Arts (SGA)

Sacred Geometry & Arts (SGA) program introduces youth to the ancient Kemetians concept of sacred geometry. 

Sacred Geometry as described by Faheen Judah-EI D.D. :

The ancient Kemetians of the African Nile Valley knew there was sacred geometry in nature and in the cosmos, and this sacred geometry involved universal patterns used in the design of everything in our reality, most often seen in nature, sacred architecture, and sacred art. 

Program progression:

  1. Aspects Sacred Geometry & Arts
  2. Identification of Sacred Geometry & Arts
  3. Creation of Arts & Architecture 
  4. Program show in virtual & immersive galleries

By sharing knowledge from ancient Kemet

SGA aims to:

  • Empower black youth to have a positive self-image
  • Increase a sense of balance in our youth and community
  • Empower our youth to identify sacred geometry in math nature, harmonics, and cosmology
  • Empower our youth to create art & architecture leveraging aspects of sacred geometry 
  • Empower youth to share their creations in a virtual and immersive gallery space

Skills - Based Volunteer

Skilled volunteering refers to companies and individuals using their professional skills to assist nonprofit organizations. Skilled volunteers will assist with teaching students virtually in real time or via a recording.

  • Metaverse developer
  • Digital Artists
  • Adobe After Effects trainer
  • Office 365 admin (Operations)

Technology Donations

Technology Donations refers to physical equipment as well as software.


Technology needs:

  • 3 iPads
  • 3 Laptops to support development
  • VR Headset
  • 2x USB enabled projectors
  • CAD
  • Adobe Suite
